Another year has flown right on by me. 30 years ago, I thought for sure, by now, we would have flying cars. I never imagined who or what I would be at 41. When you're a kid, 41 seems so old. I started playing word games to promote brain health. I'm sure I've done enough damage to it when I was in my 20's and 30's! Today, I celebrated myself by going to the gym. Now, if I can only make it a ritual.
I'm so honored to be invited to sell my handmade goods at The Holiday Gift Market, sponsored by The Foxy Lady Art Posse! This will be a very exciting event. I will be surrounded by many friends and so much talent.
Autumn in Indiana is short and sweet. I wish that it lasted twice as long as summer. I will take what I can get. Hands down, The Southside Farmer's Market on Warsaw Street is the very best in the area. I have about 4 weeks to stock up until next Spring.
“To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.” ~William Henry Channing
